Yoga & Meditation

My Yoga Philosophy

Your body is your teacher.
I'm simply here to help you listen.

After decades of studying and teaching yoga, I believe the real practice begins when we move beyond simply making shapes with our bodies and start paying attention to what we experience within them.

Rooted in traditional yoga philosophy and the wisdom of the Yoga Sutras, my approach embraces yoga as a whole—a practice that extends far beyond the mat and into how we think, breathe, relate, respond, and live.

I offer guidance, suggestions, and opportunities to explore, but I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all practice. You are the expert on your own experience. My role is to help you develop the awareness to recognize what serves you, respect your body's wisdom, and cultivate a deeper relationship with yourself.

Strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility? Wonderful. Consider them a bonus.

The deeper work is learning to live with greater awareness, move through life with intention, and discover what becomes possible when you learn to listen inward.

Yoga isn't just something you do. It's a way of being.

Yoga Is a Practice for Life

Yoga is so much more than what happens on the mat.
It’s a lifelong practice of building awareness, cultivating strength and resilience, and learning to meet yourself—and life—with greater presence.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your personal practice, experience the connection of a group class, or grow into your authentic voice as a teacher,

there’s a path for you here.

Meditation

Meditation is simpler than you might think.
You don’t need to quiet your mind, stop your thoughts,
or achieve some elusive state of bliss.

It begins with something much more accessible:
learning to observe your thoughts, your breath, and your experience without getting swept away by them.

That’s where awareness begins—and where the practice unfolds.
